Balikbayan 2013 Flashback Parañaque, Metro Manila Philippines. June 30, 2013. Thank you Redentor, Weng, and Gabinete family for hosting Malou, Tess and me in your beautiful home. This was the first time Redentor (or Gabby) and I saw each other since I had moved to Chicao, IL in August 1976. It was the very first time Malou and I met in person after having only communicated via Facebook. To recap, our grandparents were Reyes-Altmirano siblings: Perfecto Altamirano Reyes - Lualhati Reyes Perseveranda - J.F. November 16, 1999 Maapag, Valencia, Bukidnon. We got married poolside at her Kuya Jun's house at the farm. We meet 5/16/99. We celebrated her birthday (which she shares with her mother) 8/16/99 in Las Vegas. So I proposed we get married at 5:16 PM on November 16. Cheers 🥂

Of course, Joey, Ray and I were classmates in Marist School in Marikina until Grade 3 when I left for the USA. Section A. Naks! Both Joey & Ray went to UP Diliman for college, and I got to hang out with them and their respective fraternities at the Diliman campus. Salamat bros! Ray, Bombi, Nilo and I played a lot of hoops at the neighborhood basketball court at SSS Village Elementary School. Good times.
