Balikbayan 2013 Flashback Parañaque, Metro Manila Philippines. June 30, 2013. Thank you Redentor, Weng, and Gabinete family for hosting Malou, Tess and me in your beautiful home. This was the first time Redentor (or Gabby) and I saw each other since I had moved to Chicao, IL  in August 1976. It was the very first time Malou and I met in person after having only communicated via Facebook. To recap, our grandparents were Reyes-Altmirano siblings: Perfecto Altamirano Reyes - Lualhati Reyes Perseveranda - J.F.
